New Colors and Sets

This is a new hostess level one set called Because I care. I created using the new color Baja Breeze-this is by far my favorite new color.
Card Recipe:
Stamp set: Because I Care
Cardstock: Baja Breeze, Confetti White, Crumb Cake (formerly known as Kraft)
Ink: Baja Breeze Marker, Pear Pizzaz Marker
Accessories: VAnilla Ribbon, Scallop Trim Border Punch

Crayon Resist Technique

I created the white shading around the flowers using this technique:

Card Recipe:
Stamp Set: Simply Said, Fast Flowers Wheel
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink
Accessories: White Crayon

Trendy Trees

I love this set and I find myself reaching for it a lot. This was made for a demo meeting as a male card.
Card Recipe:
Stamp Set: Trendy Trees
Cardstock: More Mustard, Old Olive, Soft Suede, Whisper White
Ink: Soft Suede, Old Olive, More Mustard, Pumpkin Pie
Accessories: Silver Brads, Paper Piercer, Mat Pack
This is a new baby gift that I made for one of my good friends and stamp club members. I embossed with white embossing powder to spell out the baby's name. I also embossed with iridescent ice around the flower petals. I actually used a tree stamp from the trendy trees set to make the circle design on the petals-very versatile.

Frame Recipe:
Stamp Sets: Trendy Trees, Alphabet set (can't remember name)
Cardstock: Cottage Wall DSP, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White
Accessories: Ribbon, Button Brads, Iridescent Ice and White Embossing Powders

Stamp Club Mini Scrapbook

This was my first attempt at creating a scrapbook since college. My hostess for the club this month is a scrapbooker so I wanted to try it again. We had a blast! We used the Sunny Days Simply Scrappin kits and this was enough for 9 mini books. I love the Scrappin kits they are also great to make a huge set of matching cards. With the colors so bright I decided to make this a summer/beach scrapbook for my little girl. It's small enough it fits in my purse. This would make a great gift for a baby shower or wedding-practically anything you could think of! To view this tutorial on how to make this go to:

My Little Girls First Card!

My 3 year old made a Valentine's card for Daddy. She chose all the colors and embellishments and she even stamped the greeting. We had fun playing with the new large flower punch.
